Lead Social Media Executive

Are you an expert in social media strategy and engagement? Do you have a track record of driving conversions and building online communities? We are looking for an experienced Lead Social Media Executive to join our team. You'll be responsible for managing and growing social media accounts, implementing strategies to boost followers, engagement, and conversions.

Work Hours: 40 hours / week

Reporting to: Head of Digital Marketing


Requirements

- 6+ years experience in client communications, content creation, community management, social media, and marketing

- Knowledge of B2B (business-to-business), e-commerce, corporate, and non-profit sectors

- Experience in agency / consultancy environments with multiple projects and clients

- Experience in working closely with graphic designers and online marketing specialists

- Exceptional command of English and Arabic, both written and verbal

- Superior knowledge in Social Media trends, best practices, and channels (Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, X, Linkedin, Youtube)

- Strong ability to analyze marketing data, track campaign performance, and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing efforts

- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all communication and project management deliverables

- Demonstrated history of consistently producing high-quality and creative content

- Strong sense of duty to complete tasks regardless of obstacles or time constraints, demonstrating a commitment to achieving goals and maintaining high standards

- Able to adapt quickly, solve problems creatively, and find resourceful solutions to challenges

- Bachelor’s Degree in any major, preferably in one of these: English or Arabic Literature, Marketing, Psychology, Public Relations, or Law


Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

- Stay ahead of the latest industry trends, consumer behaviors, digital technology innovations, and emerging social media platforms to inform strategic decisions and foster innovation.

- Analyze industry benchmarks, competitors, and both project and social media performance data to refine strategies and identify areas for improvement.

- Ideate editorial calendars and develop content aligned with the client's goals, incorporating social media content strategies that meet these objectives.

- Collaborate with graphic designers, animators, videographers, photographers, and other content creators to produce engaging, high-quality content for various social media platforms.

- Schedule and publish content consistently across all channels, monitoring social media performance and engagement metrics to adjust strategies for enhanced results.

- Engage with the online community by responding to inquiries and managing interactions, ensuring a vibrant and interactive presence on social media channels.

- Generate reports on social media metrics and analyze campaign and advertisement effectiveness, utilizing insights for continuous optimization.

- Coordinate closely with media planners on SEO/SEM and other media buying efforts, monitoring performance, budget, and outcomes to regularly push for optimization.

Account Management & Client Servicing

- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, understanding and exceeding their needs and objectives.

- Maintain excellent communications with clients, conducting regular meetings to stay informed of their business changes and needs.

- Implement processes with efficiency and transparency, such as sending minutes of meetings (MOMs) to record new requests, deliverables and deadlines.

- Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and address any feedback or concerns.

- Manage resources to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality work within scope and timeline.

- Be accountable for overseeing projects from brief to execution, adopting a problem-solving approach to address and resolve client concerns.

Trends, Strategy, & Analytics

- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, consumer behaviors, and digital technology innovations to guide strategic decisions.

- Analyze industry benchmarks, competitors, and project performance data to gain insights for refining strategies and identifying improvement areas.

- Collaborate with media planners on targeted advertising strategies, including SEO/SEM, ensuring they align with overall marketing goals.

- Generate analytics reports (monthly, quarterly) and closely monitor advertising performance against metrics and KPIs, utilizing insights for continuous optimization.

- Organize weekly meetings with ad buyers to review channel progress and advise the team on optimizing ad types based on performance data.

- Continuously refine project management processes and methodologies by incorporating industry trends and providing recommendations for their integration into projects.

Community Management

- Publish posts on client’s social media channels successfully and in timely manner

- Moderate and manage online feedback from fans and clients

- Engage with fans and maintain their loyalty to brands through active community management

- Continuously test for best timings and best practices to post on client’s social media channels
